Professor Salih Sayilgan is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the School of Continuing Studies, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, USA. He received his MA in Religious Studies from the University of Alberta and PhD in Religion and Culture from the Catholic University of America.

Salih’s research concentrates on Islamic theology and practice, Qur’anic studies, Islam in America, and Christian-Muslim relations. Prior to his appointment at Georgetown, he served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Islamic and Interreligious Studies and Louisville Postdoctoral Fellow at Wesley Theological Seminary.
