27 June, 2024

Oxford Interfaith Forum is pleased to have joined the Rome Call for AI Ethics to support an ethical development of artificial intelligence (AI) through its International Interfaith Reading Group on Science and Religion in Interfaith Contexts.

We endorse the Rome Call which fosters an ethical approach to AI and promotes a sense of responsibility among organizations, governments, multinational technology companies, and institutions, in order to shape a future in which digital innovation and technological progress serve human genius and creativity, while preserving and respecting the dignity of each and every individual, as well as our planet’s.

By join the Rome Call network, the Oxford Interfaith Forum pledges to share best practices, tools, and educational content around the principles of the call, in order to educate the next generation technology leaders, and bring awareness about human-centric technology in the new generations. We will strive to democratise AI ethics solutions in an inclusive way. More information is available in the document published below. Upcoming events will be posted in the Science and Religion in Interfaith Contexts.
